Announcement: Staffing Update - CCS Head of School
Exciting News – Mrs. Lisa Lovitt Named Head of School
Dear Church and School Community,
We are excited to announce that Mrs. Lisa Lovitt has officially accepted the position of Head of School at Coastline Christian Schools!
After an extended search process and two years of faithful service as Interim Head of School, Lisa has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication to Christian education, and a deep love for our students and families.
Lisa has faithfully served the past two years in the interim role and has shown great leadership, spiritual maturity, and commitment to our shared mission. We believe God has raised her up for such a time as this, and we look forward to how He will continue to use her to bless and lead the school ministry.
This appointment marks a significant milestone for both Coastline Christian Schools and Bay Area Chinese Bible Church. We are confident that God has called Lisa to this role, and we look forward with great hope to what He will do in and through her leadership.

A Message from Mrs. Lisa Lovitt
Dear Church and School Communities,
It has been an incredible honor to serve at Coastline Christian Schools for the past eleven years. During that time, I’ve worn many hats—teacher, vice principal, and now Head of School. Each role has shaped me and deepened my conviction that Christian education is one of the most powerful tools we have to raise up the next generation of leaders who know and love God.
My calling to Christian education is deeply personal. I was raised in a Christian home by a father who faithfully served as a missionary and pastor. While that laid a strong spiritual foundation, it was during my middle and high school years at The King’s Academy in Sunnyvale that I truly encountered the life-changing impact of Christian education. What transformed me wasn’t just the Bible classes or chapel services—it was the daily example of teachers and staff who lived out their faith with love, integrity, and intentionality. Their investment brought me back to God and ignited a passion in me that still burns today. That experience fuels my passion for the eternal impact of Christian education. In a world drifting from biblical truth and embracing shifting values, I believe it is more urgent than ever to invest in schools that develop the whole child—spiritually, academically, and emotionally. The work we do is not just for today—it is for generations to come.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in painting and drawing. With 9 years of school administration experience, 13 years of teaching K–12 in Physical Education, Art, and English, and 16 years of coaching soccer, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students both in the classroom and on the field. Coaching has especially allowed me to use sports as a platform to build character, foster discipline, and to disciple young lives. These diverse experiences have shaped my leadership to be relational, creative, and grounded in purpose.
At CCS, I strive to lead with both vision and compassion. My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is uniquely created by God and deserves to be known, loved, challenged, and supported. I believe that education is ultimately discipleship—teaching students to think deeply, live courageously, and lead with humility and conviction.
My vision is for CCS to be a beacon of light in the Bay Area—a place where students are equipped to stand firm in truth, serve others with joy, and influence the world for the glory of God.
I’ve been married to my amazing husband, Markangelo, for 17 years. He is a former juvenile probation officer and now runs his own jiu jitsu gym in Concord. Together, we’re raising three energetic boys—Megginis (16), Nickoli (11), and Lucius (6)—who fill our home with joy, laughter, and a lot of sports!
Outside of school, I enjoy cheering at my sons’ games, supporting my husband’s business, and finding moments to myself for prayer, hiking, and soccer. I’m also passionate about mentoring young leaders and encouraging others to live boldly in their calling.
It is a true joy and privilege to serve as Head of School at CCS. I look forward with hope and anticipation to all that God will continue to do through this community as we deepen and widen His Kingdom—one child at a time.

親愛的教會和學校大家庭：
過去的十一年，我深感榮幸能在灣區基督教學校服事。當中我擔任過不同角色、從老師、副校長到現在被任命為校長，每一個崗位都深深塑造了我，也堅定我對基督教教育的使命，我深信這是培育下一代，使他們認識信仰且成為一個愛神的領袖最有力的方式之一。
上帝對我投入基督教教育的呼召，是一份個人而深刻的領受。我從小在一個基督教家庭中長大，父親是一位忠心的宣教士與牧師，為我奠定了穩固的信仰基礎。然而，真正改變我生命的轉捩點，是來自我在 Sunnyvale 的 The King’s Academy 就讀初中和高中時所接受的基督教教育。改變我的，不只是聖經課程或崇拜聚會，更是那些以愛心、誠信和熱情活出信仰的老師與同工。他們使我重新認識神，也燃起了我對教育的熱情，直到今天仍然不息。
正是這段經歷，推動我投身於擁有深遠且永恆影響力的基督教教育。在這個逐漸偏離真道、價值觀不斷被動搖的世代。我深信，如今比以往更迫切，需要投放更多資源去教育孩子，使他們在靈命、學術和心理上得到全面發展；我們所做的，不僅是為了今天，更是為了延續至未來的世代。
我擁有教育領導碩士學位，以及藝術學士學位（主修繪畫與素描）。經歷了九年的學校行政工作、十三年的體育、美術與英文的教學，並十六年擔任足球教練的教育生漄。在課堂與球場上與學生同行，是我莫大的榮幸。透過運動，我能幫助孩子建立品格、培養紀律，更以門徒訓練的方式引導他們走在真理中。這些多元的經歷，塑造了我注重關係，富有創意，目標明確的領導風格。
我致力以神所賜的遠見與同理心來引領團隊。我深信每個孩子都是上帝獨特的創造，理應被認識、被愛、被激勵並獲支持。我深深相信，教育的最終目的就是門徒訓練──教導學生深入思考、勇敢生活，並以謙卑與堅定的信念來引領他人。
我對CCS的異象，是希望這裡成為灣區的明燈——並裝備學生，讓他們在信仰和真理上站立得穩，以喜樂的心事奉他人，並影響世界，榮耀神的名。
我與丈夫 Markangelo 結婚已有 17 年。他曾是少年感化官，目前在Concord經營一間柔道館。我們有三位充滿活力的兒子：16 歲的 Megginis、11 歲的 Nickoli 和 6 歲的 Lucius，他們為我們的家庭帶來無限歡樂、笑聲和滿滿的運動行程！
除工作之外，我喜歡在球場上為孩子們加油，也全力支持丈夫的事業。同時我也會為自己預留禱告、遠足、踢足球的時間。此外，我熱衷於輔導年輕領袖，並鼓勵更多人勇敢回應神的呼召。
能在CCS擔任校長，是我極大的喜樂與榮幸！我懷感恩與盼望，期待繼續在這個群體中見證上帝的奇妙作為。透過教育下一代，共同拓展神的國度 - 一步一使命， 一孩一世界。
