Dear Church Family,
Happy New Year! As we begin this new year, I would like to encourage you to participate in our "Encourage an Educator" project for January 4–24th.
Educators worldwide have been facing many hardships as they continue to educate our children during this pandemic. We would like for our congregation to work together to encourage them as they continue to ensure our children's well-being despite the daily challenges they are facing.

We will encourage educators from Tiny Treasures Preschool, Coastline Christian Schools, and Amelia Earhart Elementary School (a local public school in Alameda).
Our goal is 125 gift boxes filled with teacher-friendly items and notes of encouragement! All gift boxes will be delivered to educators from CCS, TTP, and Amelia Earhart by the end of January!
Here are three ways to Encourage an Educator:
Pray for them and write them a letter of encouragement:
Choose one or more teachers to send an email to. List of Teachers
Take time to pray for them daily or weekly in January.
Write them a letter of encouragement (see List of Teachers).
Drop it off at BACBC in front of MC1 starting January 4th or

To drop off donations, please seal them in an envelope and drop them off in the donation bins located at the front of the MC1 building.
*** All donation drop-offs started on Monday, January 4. There are donation bins located in front of the MC1 building. Please drop off between the hours of 9 AM–4 PM Monday–Friday.

Update
Thank you for your generous gifts to help those in need:
You generously donated 74 sleeping bags and 129 blankets. City Team ministries will distribute them to the homeless.
You generously gave $22,942 for our Christmas project. 50% will go toward the church benevolence fund, which will help church families in need, and 50% will go toward ministries such as Midway Shelter of Alameda which provides a safe and supportive environment for women and children suffering from homelessness and domestic violence.
