Church Update and Encouragement
Encouragement
Dear Church Family,
I hope you are enjoying our new website (bacbc.org)! The vast majority of our recent guests find us through our website, so it is a strategic tool for outreach, especially since we are unable to hold in-person worship services at this time.
Our website is an encouraging example of a “Growing Young” project and even more! We had four generations working together: Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers serving the Lord. And it was English and Chinese speaking brothers and sisters in Christ developing a tool for God’s glory! Intergenerational and intercultural service for the Lord!
Demonstrating unity with such diversity is a blessing and brings glory to God! David said,
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore." Psalm 133
The Expositor’s Bible Commentary: Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs says, “Fellowship of God’s people on earth is an expression of the priesthood of all believers (cf. Exod 19:6), promised to Israel and renewed to the church in Christ (1 Peter 2:9–10). The psalmist compares the expression of harmonious unity to sacerdotal [priestly] oil. The oil prepared for the use in the tabernacle was a special, fragrant oil, whose recipe was not to be imitated (cf. Exod 30:22–33).”
It is a unique, pleasant fragrance to God when he sees his people live and serve in unity!
Let the BACBC web team (webteam@bacbc.org) know you appreciate their ministry!
In Christ,
Pastor Steve
