We are grateful for our church family's generous giving. In recent weeks, nearly $130,000 in stock gifts were donated to help the work of the Gospel continue.
In addition, we have a wonderful example of the results of the "Blessings" small group discipleship and evangelism ministry in our Cantonese ministries: approximately 7 adults made professions of faith in Christ!

Dear Church Family,

As we enter this Thanksgiving season, let us remember God’s exhortation to us:

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Th 5:18–19

Thankfulness is God's command, not an option. We should grow to be thankful in every circumstance of life, even in 2020! This is best for us because it is God’s will. A life of gratitude will bless us!

Did you know that scientists are researching the impact of thankfulness? They have discovered that the practice of gratitude “every time” has “dramatic, lasting, and positive results.” They tell us THANKFULNESS is essential for our mental, physical, and relational wellbeing.

TRY THIS: I want to encourage you to keep a gratitude journal during November. It could be a daily log, a note on your phone, a Google/Word document on your computer, or even a paper composition binder. At the close of the day, take 10-15 minutes to reflect on what you are thankful for, write it down, and thank God for blessing you.
