Church Update and Encouragement

encouragment

Dear Church Family,

I recently finished the book Keep Sharp by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. While he is an evolutionist, the book is a fascinating exploration of our human brain. He even says no computer or artificial intelligence will ever take the place of the human brain. Sounds like evidence of our Creator to me!

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.  Psalm 139:13-14

The practical gist of the book consists of five ways we can keep our brains sharp throughout our lifetime. One of them is that our brains can keep growing and fighting decline by learning new things! We can learn new things no matter how young or old we are, and it keeps our brains fit!

Every year our church joins the BASS Convention. The BASS Convention is a Bay Area Christian training event and it is FREE this year! Keep your God-given brain sharp and sign up for a workshop to learn something new or grow deeper in topics of interest!
