Church Update and Encouragement

dear church family,

When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit places us into the body of Christ and God, becomes our Heavenly Father.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Eph 4:4–6

In the future, in heaven, we will worship together - all people groups who have been saved through the blood of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9–10

Last month was the first “One Blood Prayer Fellowship” where 140 brothers and sisters in Christ, of different ethnicities from different Bay Area gospel churches, prayed for a smooth transition to the new presidential Administration. Those who attended said it was a taste of the heavenly vision in the above scriptures!

Another prayer fellowship (via zoom) is scheduled for Sunday, Feb 21 at 6:00 pm. We will be praying for biblical ethnic reconciliation in the body of Christ -- we must lead the way and set the example-- and we can because we are all bought by the blood of Christ.

In Christ,
Pastor Steve
