Church Update and Encouragement - Encourage an Educator

When: January 4-24, 2021
Who: For the month of January we will be encouraging educators from Tiny Treasures Preschool, Coastline Christian Schools, and Amelia Earhart Elementary school (a local public school in Alameda)

Why: Our church is making a commitment in 2021 to do as Jesus calls us to do in Matthew 5:14-16- to be the light to the world so others may see the truth and hope of Jesus Christ. Educators worldwide have been facing many trials and hardships as they continue to educate our children during this pandemic. We would like for our congregation to work together to encourage and uplift them as they continue to ensure the well being of our children despite the daily challenges they face in this pandemic.
Goal: 125 gift boxes filled with teacher-friendly items and notes of encouragement! All gift boxes will be delivered to educators from CCS, TTP, and Amelia Earhart by the end of January!
How to Encourage an Educator:
Pray for them and write them a letter of encouragement:
Choose one or multiple teachers from the list on the website.
Take time to Pray for them daily or weekly for the month of January
Write them a letter of encouragement

Write and send a letter or card
drop off at BACBC in front of MC1 starting January 5th or

To drop off donation, please drop off in a sealed envelope in the donation bins located at the front of MC1 building
*** All donation drop offs will start on Monday, Jan 5th. There will be donation bins located in front of the MC1 building. Please drop off between the hours of 9AM- 4PM Monday- Friday, 9AM-3PM Saturday (1/9, 1/16, 1/23), and 9AM-3PM Sunday (1/24).
