Church Update and Encouragement

Dear Church family:

1 Samuel 2:9 tells us:

“He will guard the feet of his faithful ones, but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail.”

While traveling on this journey of life, everyone experiences peaks and valleys, and it’s the same for Christians.  The difference is that as Christians, we are God’s children, God provides us with care and protection under all circumstances.  There are times that we may fall down we can pick ourselves up and continue forward, because God gives us the strength that we need to live a triumphant life.

Today, with the pandemic, the wildfires, it appears as we are trapped with no end in sight.  Actually, this is a part of our journey in life that helps us to see our limitations and helplessness.  As children of God, we must come before our Lord humbly and draw strength from Him to move forward.  We face not only our own limitations and helplessness in the journey of our life, we should be aware that the footsteps of Satan are often close by.  Satan adds burdens to our hearts with stress, sorrow, low self-esteem, and fear.  Therefore, we must stay alert, pray to our God, and rely on Him to live a triumphant life.
