Church Update and Encouragement

Dear Church Family,

Our heavenly Father may not remove all trials we experience in life, but he does give us his mercy and comfort to get through them. And when we have experienced God's comfort in our trials, he also wants us to come alongside others in their affliction. We are not supposed to carry life's burdens by ourselves! The apostle Paul said it this way:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Our fourth cycle of the Griefshare ministry (griefshare.com) began on Sunday (via Zoom, 1:15 pm – 3:15 pm). Thirteen participants (Cantonese and English speaking) confirmed their commitment, forming the largest group in these last couple of years! We also received permission to use Griefshare's Chinese version, giving us a greater outreach to those who speak Cantonese or Mandarin.

You can still participate in this round of this ministry by emailing griefshare@bacbc.org!

“GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.”

In Christ,
Pastor Steve
