From Alameda County Foster Parent Association: Dear BACBC, Just sending a note of thanks for all you do and continue to bless the children and families of Alameda County Foster care. Although I am a bit late with sending this card, the appreciation is always there.

In Alameda County, we have approximately 1200 children in our foster care system, - 228 of them are sent out of our county because there are not enough foster homes each year--away from their homes, relatives, schools.

Stand Sunday / Orphan Sunday is celebrating its 20th year! This is a unique opportunity to pledge our commitment to stand in the gap for vulnerable children and their families in our cities.
