Although workers were not able to travel to Asia to visit the beloved children with disabilities and the visually impaired college students, they were able to keep in touch with them electronically. They were also able to provide loving physical as well as spiritual care and support through local volunteers.

We were blessed by Chris Yeung and Laurent Mak from Silver Lining Missions (Asia) as they gave us an update of their ministries in Vietnam, Dahua, Nanning, and Yangon. They have over 200 children in Maymyo, Myanmar. They plan to open another children’s center in a war zone near Hakha.

Jason Brown replaced Tim Fortescue last year as the Director of Global Gates, West Coast. One of the projects that Jason set up was collaborating with local Afghan families and several churches in San Ramon, CA to put together kitchen kits for newly arriving Afghan refugee families.

F & K have been teaching Bible classes at two colleges. F also teaches Hebrew and Greek while K teaches English at an Islamic University as well. In addition, F preaches and shares in chapels.

The ministry continues to use music, sharing and testimonies to outreach to Chinese communities. They recently started using YouTube Shorts to introduce and promote their videos in which God’s people share and give testimonies on God’s blessings and provision.
