March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake struck Myanmar, (7.7) with the epicenter close to Silver Lining Family Village is based. The 170 children were on a field trip when the tremors came very strong and lasted several moments. Chris (founder of SL) was with 30 children - he got crouched down and held the children, giving them words of comfort. Every child was safe and unharmed.

Sandy shared last year that she has lived among the physically deaf culture for 41 years. She knows the power of God's word and saving grace, having seen many believe and accept Christ. More important is that while they have a great physical challenge, they more than overcome by serving their Lord passionately.

2024 Highlights Ending this Year, Looking Forward to the New!

We had a total of 261 students in 2024--that is a 46% growth rate from 2023!

• We completed 3 courses: BC102 (Head to Heart), BC103 (Theology of Romans), BC104 Theology of Emotions

• These courses held at 2 seminaries in China with students from other Asian nations

• Australia has Pastor Olivia T as the Director of Australian Ministries

Matthew (Matt) shared a series of updates at the end of December to wrap up his ministry year. He was able to take a two month "Season of Reflection" which meant he stepped away from his regular ministry duties in Los Angeles and visited other places where Servant Partners (SP) has ministries/workers.
