When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit places us into the body of Christ and God, becomes our Heavenly Father.

The country in focus for this month: Papua New Guinea. This is the second largest island in the world with high mountains, dense forests, lowland swamps, and great biodiversity. There are nearly 1,000 people groups speaking 830 languages.

I recently finished the book Keep Sharp by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. While he is an evolutionist, the book is a fascinating exploration of our human brain. He even says no computer or artificial intelligence will ever take the place of the human brain. Sounds like evidence of our Creator to me!

Lillian has continued to use her gifts and passions to teach language development to children from families who are involved in cross-cultural work. She has now moved to Alameda as her work continues online. Her role supports the families who are working in language development for people groups in Asia who still need help.

J & D are familiar with BACBC ministries. J taught at CCS years ago before marrying D. D grew up at BACBC as her parents have attended BACBC before she and her siblings were born.

On Sunday night, about 140 brothers and sisters in Christ from different evangelical churches in the Bay Area joined together in prayer for our nation, a nation in crises on many fronts.
