Silver Lining Missions (Asia) – The pandemic resulted in many barriers and restrictions to Silver Lining’s ministries. It however has brought a breakthrough in terms of using live broadcasts to meet and chat with more of the children that they serve.

Brian and Faith Janssen continue their ministry to university students in the northern Kaohsiung area. In the last semester, they were allowed back on three different university campuses. On two campuses they run English clubs.

Please pray for wisdom as church leaders seek God’s will and actively consider plans to safely reopen. We want to reopen church with our members’ spiritual, emotional, and physical health in consideration.

When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit places us into the body of Christ and God, becomes our Heavenly Father.

The country in focus for this month: Papua New Guinea. This is the second largest island in the world with high mountains, dense forests, lowland swamps, and great biodiversity. There are nearly 1,000 people groups speaking 830 languages.

I recently finished the book Keep Sharp by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. While he is an evolutionist, the book is a fascinating exploration of our human brain. He even says no computer or artificial intelligence will ever take the place of the human brain. Sounds like evidence of our Creator to me!
