Stand Sunday / Orphan Sunday & National Adoption Awareness Month Guest Speaker - November 7, 2021

They have been unable to travel to China to visit beloved young children with disabilities, their families, visually impaired college students and others with whom they have developed relationships over the years. They however were able to keep in touch electronically and provide loving physical and spiritual care and support through local volunteers.

Highlights - they had both a virtual and in-person camp this summer (separate weeks) for Junior High & High School students. The latest newsletter shares God’s provision of needed camp staff and kitchen volunteers who fed 250 at each meal. CBM camps are ministering to a 3rd generation of youth.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (N. CA,OR) – Derek and Chelsea Jung currently lead InterVarsity Christian Fellowship chapters at Shasta College and Simpson College in Redding CA; College of the Siskiyous in Weed CA; Oregon Tech in Klamath OR and Southern Oregon University in Ashland OR.

This month's country to pray for: The Republic of Vanuatu. Vanuatu is an island nation composed of 32 islands in the southwest Pacific--south of the Solomon Islands and west of Australia.

This month’s missions focus is Larry and Kathleen Leach. They are still serving at Brandon Baptist Church and have met over 120 neighbors while walking the neighborhood during COVID lockdown.
