I have been a Star Trek and Star Wars fan for many years! I am enjoying the new Star Trek Discovery TV series and Disney+ Mandalorian series. It is entertaining to see in these sci-fi shows the many strange-looking alien life forms, faster than light speed travel, and powerful ray beam weapons or lightsabers.

Recent Email from them: "Praise God for a core group of students who come out to Sunday fellowship. Please pray for various outreach activities in December such as craft nights, outdoor activities, and the Christmas Party.

Much of CCM's ministry was in written publications distributed through churches. With COVID-19, they are unable to have churches (not having in-person services) spread messages of hope and comfort

As we enter this Thanksgiving season, let us remember God’s exhortation to us:

As the church, our identity is neither “Blue” (Democrats) or “Red” (Republicans): our identity is in Jesus Christ. That also means our brothers and sisters in Christ are family regardless of who they voted for—they should be loved and respected.
